     The job of the student
   

During your activity in the Orphanage you may:

play with the children; try to establish contacts across language barrier; help the nurses and the doctors; go with children in short 'trips' in town.

During the week the program will be:

9.00  arrival to the orphanage 9.00 - 13.00  classes (activities mentioned above) 13.00 - 15.00   lunch break 15.00 - 18.00   afternoon program (trips, visits in the city, rehabilitation programme, workgroups for psychology, games, movies, TV, special programme for education, art-therapy) 18.00 - 18.30   debates about the problems appeared during the day)

   During spare time romanian students will organize social programme (e.g. discos, pubs, sports). In weekend students may visit the most beautiful places in Romania.

Things to be brought

   For the work with children is not necessary a white coat. But, if you want to take part to medical activities in orphanage, is strongly indicated to take one with you.
  if you want to bring something for children (clothes, toys) you are welcome.
  For yourself, be sure not to forget: alarm clock, umbrella, dictionary (very usefull if you want to talk with children or buy something).

Accomodation

   The local organization will provide accomodation in students campus. The rooms are nice and clean with 2 or 3 beds.The canteen is nearby.Here you can buy very cheap meal.
